The Human Resources team has worked throughout this year to finalize the implementation of CHRS Recruiting. CHRS Recruiting is the first phase of a larger systemwide project known as Common Human Resources System (CHRS) and it will replace our existing PeopleSoft e-Recruit system for employee searches.
Faculty searches utilized CHRS Recruiting in 2020 and beginning on Jan. 4, 2021, CHRS Recruiting will also be used for staff and management searches.
Staff and management positions accepting applications in 2020 will finish in the existing PeopleSoft e-Recruit system. Beginning Jan. 4, 2021, any new recruitments will be conducted in CHRS Recruiting.
CHRS Recruiting will be used by members of the campus community who perform recruiting functions, and/or serve on staff or MPP search committees. In addition, CHRS Recruiting will streamline the application submission process to improve the overall applicant experience.
Training opportunities will be provided by Human Resources to search committees as searches are initiated. Training guides will be available on the Human Resources Processes/User Guides webpage.
