Fresno State’s campus will be closed to the public for the Holiday Break beginning at 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 21, 2017, and will resume normal operations on Tuesday, January 2, 2018. Only essential personnel will be required to work during the break period.

We received notification that the Governor has granted four (4) hours informal time off for state employees on December 22. President Castro is granting a half-day administrative leave, thereby allowing our employees to take the entire day off. As such, it is not necessary to report an absence for December 22.

The campus has designated the following days as holidays: December 25-28, and January 1. Management and represented staff will need to use vacation, CTO, Personal Holiday, or request dock time to cover one work day (December 29).
