In order to be more sustainable and to save energy during the winter break, Facilities Management will be minimizing building systems during the campus closure days.

As a reminder, campus closure days are Wednesday, Dec. 24 through Thursday, Jan. 1.

Exceptions to these sustainability changes are listed below. These listed buildings will not have alterations in their schedule and will run as they do normally with no impact to climate control:

• Locations for Winter Intersession courses
• Student Health and Counseling Center
• Library
• McLane Hall
• Science 1

Buildings not listed here will have limited heating. The exterior electronic doors to the buildings will also be locked unless requested otherwise by the departments.

If you have a scheduled event in unlisted campus buildings during these dates, please gain managerial or dean approval to submit a work order through Facilities Link in order to ensure the building climate control systems can accommodate your event and that we have the exterior electronic doors on the correct schedules.
