Meet librarians and library staff with a passion for helping students, faculty and staff level up their research, studies, tech use, events and more.
The Library Open House will include a meet and greet with Del Hornbuckle, dean of library services; tech demonstrations; introductions to library services; paper crafts; hors d'oeuvres and treats; raffle prizes; and an all-around good time. Resource tabling will include representatives from the following library services:
- Access Services: eReserves, Circulation and Tech Lending information.
- Technical Services: Information on Electronic Resources and more.
- Digital Services and GIS: Geospatial work and Worldwide Collaboration Dashboard.
- Research Services: Subject Librarian information and more.
- Music & Media: Info on the Library’s music collection, media creation services and virtual reality demonstration.
- Interlibrary Loan: Info on finding more research in the CSU system and beyond.
- Arnie Nixon Center for the Study of Children’s Literature: Info on upcoming Banned Book Exhibition.
- Special Collections Research Center: Research and Archives information.
- Paper Craft Activities: Collage, origami and basic bookbinding to make your own journal.
Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend, make connections with a Fresno State librarian and discover how they can learn about anything in the Library.
