The opening concert of this year's Keyboard Concerts series will feature the Polish-American pianist Adam Golka.
Praised for his “brilliant technique and real emotional depth” (The Washington Post), Polish-American pianist Adam Golka came to worldwide attention after winning first prize at the 2003 China Shanghai International Piano Competition. He has been invited by András Schiff to give recitals at the Klavier-Festival Ruhr and Tonhalle Zürich for the “Sir András Schiff Selects” concert series and also received mentorship from legendary pianist Alfred Brendel. He has appeared to critical acclaim at Alice Tully Hall in New York, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, and Musashino Hall in Tokyo, among others.
