If so, you need these workshops in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) hosted by Dr. Xiaoming Yang, the Library’s GIS specialist.
Because GIS is so important to multiple industries and disciplines, these workshops are open to all Fresno State students, faculty and staff.
GIS Workshop 1: How to Access Fresno State Geographic Information System Resources
This workshop will introduce the Fresno State campus community to Geographic Information System resources available at the Library. It will cover GIS and online training subscriptions, software installation and authorization and Fresno State ArcGIS Online organizational account access.

GIS Workshop 2: Map Making for Dummies – An Introduction to ArcGIS Online
This workshop will teach making and sharing maps using ArcGIS Online without any map-making experience. The contents of the workshop include access to ArcGIS Online, use ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Living Atlas resources, make and share maps.
