Welcome back to campus, Fresno State faculty. The Library has two particular reminders for you, just in case you missed them!
Kanopy request deadline
Kanopy streaming requests due: Faculty must submit fall 2026 Kanopy video requests by Friday, Sept. 4. Late requests may require department or PD funds. Visit Kanopy via the library and log in to request titles. If you have requested films in the past, you may need to request them again. Double-check with the library because the licenses may have expired. Contact Acquisitions Librarian Marianne Foley, mfo9@mail.fresnostate.edu, for more information.
Interlibrary Loan requests are now through CSU+
In July, we announced that CSU+ is now the home for all interlibrary loan (ILL) request services through Fresno State, including requests previously submitted through the ILLiad service. Current Fresno State faculty, staff and students will place new ILL requests solely via CSU+ and not directly through the ILLiad service.
Please be assured that your access to other lending libraries and interlibrary loan materials outside of the CSU system is unchanged.
The CSU+ system now connects to your library account for one-stop viewing and status updates on all of your requested materials, both within the CSU system and libraries elsewhere. All of your future requests for interlibrary loan materials will be placed directly through the OneSearch catalog record by selecting the “Get IT” button or by using the CSU+ Request Form. We hope that this integrated approach to searching and requesting materials creates a simplified experience for our library community.
Over the last four years, the CSU has implemented and refined the system-wide CSU+ resource sharing portal. This transition has streamlined sharing, lowered costs, and increased the CSU’s collective lending and borrowing power.
