- You always bring a book “just in case,” even when there is absolutely no chance you’ll have time to read.
- You own books you’re definitely going to read next … that have been waiting patiently for several years.
- You consider wandering around a bookstore a perfectly legitimate recreational activity.
- You've said, “Just one more chapter,” with complete disregard for tomorrow morning.
- Someone asks what you're reading and suddenly you've been talking for 15 minutes.
- You have more books than shelf space — and somehow, you keep buying more.

Come find your people at Silent Book Club, a no-pressure book club where there is no assigned reading, no required preparation and no expectation that everyone is reading the same thing.
Just bring whatever you’re currently reading; a novel, memoir, mystery, fantasy, nonfiction, poetry or even that book you bought months ago with every intention of starting.
For the first 40 minutes, we settle in and read our own books together. During the final 20 minutes, we chat about what we’re reading, exchange recommendations and talk books, or you can simply listen if you’d rather not share.
