Candace Egan, professor, Media, Communications and Journalism, was named a 2022 Feature Contest quarterfinalist for her work, "Ladies Club" by CineStory.
Dr. Brooke Findley, associate professor, Communicative Sciences and Deaf Studies was named the director for District 5 [2021-23] of the California Speech Language Hearing Association.
Alcidia Freitas Gomes, executive director of Ag One Foundation and senior director of development, Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, was named one of the Marjaree Mason Center's 2022 Top Ten Professional Women honorees. She will be honored at the 39th Annual Top Ten Professional Women and Leading Business Awards on Thursday, Oct. 14 at the Save Mart Center.

This summer, three Fresno State students participated in research projects in UC Davis laboratories through the Fresno State–UC Davis Bridges to Doctorate Program. The program — funded in 2020 by a NIH T32 training grant — was jointly developed by Dr. Krish Krishnan and two professors from UC Davis.
