Associate Vice President, Janell Morillo, announced on Aug. 5 another proactive strategy to help protect the health and well-being of our campus community, in partnership with Valley Children's Healthcare (VCH), by offering voluntary and one-time COVID-19 testing at no cost.
This testing will be offered only to students and faculty who will be on campus for the fall 2020 semester for in-person classes, and to staff (including student assistants) who are currently working on campus this summer or have been approved to return to work on campus in August.
While this baseline testing is voluntary, our university administration is strongly encouraging participation in order to reduce the spread of the virus as we begin to repopulate the campus. By participating in this baseline testing, you will be helping to ensure the health and welfare of our campus community.
TESTING DATES AND LOCATION
Voluntary baseline testing will be offered at the Save Mart Center on the following dates (between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.). Please note that you do not have to register in advance. In addition, if you are not able to attend on the designated day for your division or group, you may choose to be tested on any of the following days.
