Welcome to the 109th academic year at Fresno State!

Please join your colleagues and me at the Fall 2020 Faculty and Staff Assembly webinar from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 17.

While so much has changed in the past six months, I believe some University traditions, such as this assembly, are important to maintain as they provide a sense of continuity as well as reconnection with our colleagues and our mission.

As part of my fall message, I will discuss my vision for Fresno State during these uncertain times, and invite Dr. Thomas Holyoke, chair of the Academic Senate, and Belinda Munoz, chair of the Staff Assembly, to share their thoughts, as well.

I will also highlight the work and contributions of selected teams whose dedication to Fresno State's mission and our Principles of Community plays a key role in our collective success.

In addition, members of my cabinet will join me in answering any questions you may have. In fact, most of our time together at this event will be dedicated to answering your questions.
