In his talk, “How to Gandhi in 6 (sometimes) easy steps,” Perry Garfinkel turns Gandhi’s moral truths into a usable “how-to” for everyday life. With stories from decades of journalism and travel in India (as well as 34 other countries), he offers small, realistic lifestyle and attitudinal adjustments, calling attention to minimalism and discipline in all aspects of life. These moral practices do not require sainthood, only care in daily choices. The author offers practical takeaways for resisting reactivity, simplifying without Stoic renunciation, and transforming frustration into constructive action in personal life and community.
