The Fresno State faculty piano trio, also known as the Topelli Piano Trio, will perform a faculty chamber music concert with special guest artist and internationally renowned violist, Jaime Amador. Amador is the winner of a 2024 Grammy award as a member of the Harlem Quartet and has been hailed by The Washington Post for his "sophisticated and precise playing." He is a visiting professor at the Royal College of Music in London and current faculty at the John J. Cali School of Music in Montclair State University in New Jersey. The concert will include Ravel’s virtuosic piano trio in A minor, Fresno State composition faculty, Dr. Kenneth Froelich’s Piano Quartet No. 1: Mirror and Johannes Brahms’ Piano Quartet No. 1 in G minor, Op. 25.
