You are invited to join us on Thursday, April 30, for a student art pop-up honoring the farmworker movement and the Central Valley’s deep agricultural roots.
The pop-up will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Peace Garden courtyard—the space where the César Chávez monument previously stood—with a special program from 11:30 a.m. to noon
This exhibit will feature artwork created by our students that reflects the history, contributions and enduring impact of farmworkers in our region. It is an opportunity for our campus and community to come together in a spirit of reflection, learning and appreciation.
Following the event, the artwork will be displayed in the library for the remainder of the spring semester.
We hope you will join us in supporting our students and honoring the movement that has shaped our Valley.
