Send us photos of your home office.
Do you have a lovable pet, beautiful view outside your window, or can you finally rock out to your music as loud as you want in your favorite work at home spot? Each week we will feature faculty and staff and their new office space. Email your horizontal photos to campusnews@csufresno.edu and include one or two sentences about what makes your space special for you.
Last week in photos (April 20-24):
Candace Egan, professor, Media, Communications and Journalism and director, MCJ Multimedia Production Service
My home office is in my living room and a lapdesk where I can see nature through the many windows that surround me. My campus office has no windows so this is quite different and enjoyable. Being home is spoiling my cats as much of each day. My fur baby, Smokey, lays across my feet!
Victor E. joins his college mascot colleagues on a Zoom call to discuss ways they can spread pawsitivity.
Lynnette Brown, administration support coordinator, Cross Cultural and Gender Center
I am saddened that I had to convert my Ladies Lounge into an office.
Heather Parish, marketing and public relations specialist, Henry Madden Library
My space is in my Tower District apartment, which was built in 1938. The little desk, window table and lamp are from the same era, so I get to have a little bit of time-travel as I work and listen to the radio. The map above my desk is of “Shakespeare’s England”, which helps keep the words flowing.
BoNhia Lee, communications specialist, University Communications
My new office is in a corner of my bedroom where I can shut and lock the door when needed. Not ideal, but there are French doors leading outside and beautiful sunlight streaming in. I would work from the dining room but that area of the house has turned into the classroom where my husband now teaches our two oldest (ages 8 and 6). The 2-year-old is my new desk mate. He’s grown incredibly attached and will not leave my side. He watches YouTube while I attempt to write. Good thing he’s so cute.
B. Ann Berg, administrative support coordinator, History Department

Michael Bishop, assistant professor, Department of Mathematics
