The Fresno State Police Department is scheduled for an on-site assessment for reaccreditation by verifying that it meets professional standards.
Administered by International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA), the accreditation program requires departments to comply with state-of-the-art standards in four basic areas: policy and procedures, administration, operations and support services.
University employees and the public are invited to offer comments by calling 559.278.6875 between the hours of 1 and 3 p.m. on Monday, May 15.
Comments will be taken by the assessment team consisting of team leader and retired Chief of Police Brian Seastone, University of Arizona Police Department, and retired Sergeant Regina Davis, Georgia State University Police Department.
Telephone comments must address the department’s ability to comply with IACLEA’s standards. A copy of the standards are available at the Fresno State Police Department. Contact Amy Luna at 559.278.6875 to view the standards.
Anyone wishing to submit written comments may email them to police@csufresno.edu and your comments will be forwarded to the assessment team.
