The Provost’s Awards honor faculty and staff members who set new standards of excellence and represent the heart of the university.
Join us to hear from featured speaker Dr. Thanos Panagopoulos, Excellence in Teaching, as he presents “AI for Social Good: Bridging the Gap Between STEM and the Humanities.” In this talk, Panagopoulos will explore how AI is reshaping society and discuss the importance of addressing its social, ethical and human dimensions, while highlighting interdisciplinary collaborations and opportunities for faculty, staff and students across campus.
This year's Provost’s Awards recipients provided students with a stimulating environment that fostered learning and affirmed the university as the intellectual and cultural leader of the San Joaquin Valley. The purpose of the Provost’s Awards is to honor those faculty and staff members who set new standards of excellence and represent the heart of this great university.
