Join faculty from across the CSU for Purpose in Practice: Community Engaged Teaching Across the Curriculum, a virtual faculty-to-faculty showcase highlighting practical and adaptable community-engaged teaching strategies across disciplines.
This showcase features faculty recognized through the Community-Engaged Learning Tool [CELT].
In just 75 minutes, you’ll hear how faculty are:
- Integrating artificial intelligence for social good into community-engaged courses.
- Addressing student wellbeing through reflective and sustainable practices.
- Partnering with local organizations to advance civic learning and public impact.
- Embedding community engagement across STEM, business, humanities, health, agriculture and education.
This is not a workshop or training — it’s a peer exchange designed to spark ideas you can adapt to your own courses.
Whether you are new to community engaged teaching or refining an existing course, this session offers concrete examples you can implement right away.
Date: Friday, April 17
Time: 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.
