Barlow Der Mugrdechian, professor, Armenian Studies Program, was invited to join the Board of Trustees of the Friends of Matenadaran Benevolent Fund. The Mesrop Mashtots Matenadaran, based in Yerevan, Armenia, is the premiere research institution, library, and repository of Armenian Manuscripts in the world.
He was appointed to be a member of the Friends of Yerevan State University. This international board was formed to develop support for Yerevan State University, the largest public university in the Republic of Armenia.
Janet Crum, dean of library services, recently published "Welcome to the Future: Challenges and Opportunities Discussed in the Vision 2048 Task Force Open Forums 2021-2023," reporting on the work of the Medical Library Association Vision 2048 Task Force.
