Works Above and Beyond
Amanda Andalon, Services for Students with Disabilities
I witnessed Amanda moving an accessible table across campus today alongside a colleague from Traffic Operations to ensure a classroom was ready and accessible for a student. Amanda consistently goes above and beyond expectations of her role, stepping in wherever needed to remove barriers and make sure students have access to the accommodation they need. Her willingness to personally help get the job done, collaborate with campus partners, and put students first is a great example of what it means to go above and beyond in supporting our campus community.
Kristo Bocanegra, Lyles Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship
I went to the Lyles Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship with some questions about the program and how to use the computers. I met Kristo Bocanegra, who was busy at the time. Despite being busy, Kristo explained every detail to me, gave me great information, and also helped me with the computer and printer. He was very patient and listened to me. I am so happy with his help!
Provides Excellent Customer Service
Jon Feldstein, Technology Services
Not only does Jon work hard, but he provides a level of customer service that gets noticed by the people he supports on campus. Whether he is working with internal department team members or out in the field supporting the campus community, anyone I speak to about Jon has nothing but great things to say. Many have told me they do not even remember what the issue was, but they remember and noted his high service level. Keep it up, Jon. Kudos!
Police Department - Traffic Operations
Thank you to the Traffic Operations folks for the work they do. They make order out of chaos at the beginning of school. Your work is very much appreciated.
