The Jan and Bud Richter Center for Community Engagement and Service Learning is teaming up with the Central California Blood Center for a special 9/11 Memorial Blood Drive. This annual event not only supports the local blood supply but also serves as a campuswide tribute to honor the lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001, and to remember the heroes who gave so much. Each donation is both a lifesaving gift today and a symbol of remembrance for the past.
Donor Incentives:
Donors on Monday–Wednesday will receive a Dutch Bros voucher (redeemable Tuesday or Wednesday). Thursday donors will receive a vintage Blood Center T-shirt.
To donate blood, you must be in good general health, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, and be at least 17 years old. Participants must bring photo identification, drink plenty of water, and eat a healthy meal beforehand.
Sign up here for a time slot to donate blood.
