Dr. Teresa Huerta (Literacy, Early, Bilingual and Special Education) and Marcela Magdaleno (Study Abroad and International Exchange Office) presented at the VII International Qualitative Research Conference on June 25 at the University of Guanajuato, Mexico. The presentation focused on creating dialogue with audience participants on their study abroad experiences and partnerships with other international institutions, such as the University of Guanajuato. Based on the dialogue, it was found that others institutions have similar interest in multilingualism and are expanding their study abroad programs for the purpose of enhancing professional development and preparing graduate students to function in today’s global society.
