A Principles of Supervision is being offered for university leads to gain a greater awareness of their own supervisory skills and to learn new strategies to more effectively lead others. The workshop will guide learners through seven modules focused on topics like communication, motivation, implicit bias, team culture, and performance management. Leads will enhance their leadership skills and understanding of best practices through learning, discussion, practice, and reflection, enabling them to lead effective, engaged teams.
Participants are required to attend all scheduled training sessions to successfully complete the training course.

Enrollment is limited to 20 participants. Please note this training is open to leads only. A separate session for MPP/managers will be offered in the future, and a separate session for chairs will be scheduled if there is demand.
