This course will train you on the role of Equal Employment Opportunity Designee (EEOD) and the service it provides to the University. The focus of the EEOD is to promote equal employment opportunity and to ensure a fair and equitable search process for all candidates. Every search committee must include an EEOD.
All current EEO Designees who have not completed an EEOD training in the past two (2) years will need to attend a workshop in order to continue service. Individuals who wish to serve the University as an EEOD must attend a workshop as a prerequisite for service.
Staff/MPP training is set for the dates listed below. These staff/MPP training are intended for staff and managers who wish to serve as an Equal Employment Opportunity Designee (EEOD) on search committees for staff and management positions.
- 9 - 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1 in Joyal 245
- 2 - 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3 in Joyal 245
