Prescription drug abuse is a growing problem across the United States that impacts all age groups, but is more common in young adults, including college students. Fresno State and the community are coming together for an Obstacle Challenge Course, 5k Fun Run/Walk, Free Fair and Prescription Drug Collection to bring awareness to the fight against prescription drug abuse.
Date: Saturday, Sep. 14
Time: Race starts at 8 a.m
Location: Maple Mall, near the Joyal Administration building
- $15 general race entry fee
- $10 for students, military and first responders
- Participate as an individual or team
- T-Shirt included for race participants
- Free Family Fun Fair with little kids fun course, bounce houses, touch-a-truck and information booths.
- Bring unused or expired prescription medications to be disposed of safely — drive-thru and drop off
