Fresno State Institutional Review Board (Committee for the Protection of Human Subjects) offers Research Ethics and Research Submission Procedures Workshops virtually during the fall of 2020 starting on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 9-10:30 a.m.
Students, staff, faculty and/or community members planning to conduct research working with human subjects may want to consider a virtual workshop this semester. Three workshops are being offered via Zoom. Workshop hosts will give you a greater understanding of COVID-19 restrictions and considerations, as well as an explanation of the ethical procedures that protect the rights of research participants. In addition, the workshops will teach you about the history and role of institutional review boards (IRBs) and introduce you to departmental level and university human subjects research review procedures.
