Performance Evaluation training for Managers & Chairs

In preparation for the performance evaluation process for classified employees (Units 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9), Human Resources offers training for managers and department chairs in the preparation and presentation of the performance evaluation. Training includes the university's contractual obligations, an overview of the performance management philosophy, in-depth review of the performance appraisal forms.
New managers, chairs or supervisors who have never completed an appraisal in the past or any manager, chair or supervisor who desires information on the entire evaluation process in detail should attend. Information for all units will be covered, including the special Academic Professionals of California (Unit 4) performance appraisal.

September 29 - What is a Healthy Weight
Winning With a Healthy Lifestyle is an eleven-week program designed to assist you with figuring out your basic nutrition, fitness and health needs. You are invited to attend weekly fifty minute sessions where nutrition and dietetic students, under the supervision of a Registered Dietitian, will help you track your daily food intake and exercise while assisting you with setting realistic and attainable goals. Weekly topics will include: Eating While Dining Out, How Much Should I Weigh, What are My Short and Long Term Goals and How to Eat Mindfully. Remember, each step you take for yourself leads you closer to health.
