'#HealthyCampus Week' is Sept. 25 - 29 at Fresno State! The University has joined the Partnership for a Healthier America in a three-year commitment to implement guidelines around food and nutrition, physical activity and wellness programming for students, faculty and staff.
Activities for the week include the Walk by Wellness Fair on Wednesday, Sept. 27, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. outside the USU. Come by and learn about great resources on campus and meet First Lady Mary Castro and Victor E. Bulldog!
Thursday, Sept. 28, will welcome Hunger Action Day, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. outside the USU. The week will end on Friday, Sept. 29, with the largest Zumba event on campus, from 12 - 1 p.m., outside of the Kennel Bookstore. All faculty and staff are encouraged to join us in making history by forming the largest dance class in the nation. Free t-shirts are available for faculty and staff, on a first-come, first-served basis!
In addition, be on the lookout all week for our fruit and veggie friends and take a selfie with them and post on social media using #HealthyCampus for a chance to win a $100 Target gift card. Fresno State is the first campus in the CSU to make this commitment for a healthier campus and one of only four universities in California!
