Swine, sheep, cattle, oh my!
Fresno State has the largest on-campus farm in the nation. This walking tour will be comprised of visiting the animal science units which include:equine, swine, sheep, beef, poultry and dairy unit. During the tour, you will learn about each unit as well as the field crops, orchards, vineyards and other farm enterprises with the possibility of driving out these production areas and seeing the world's largest producing ag region at work.

Are you an administrative support staff looking for opportunities to grow professionally, network with other administrative support staff, and learn practical strategies with accountability to help you reach your goals? Join the Academy Buddies program!
The Academy Buddies program is a peer-to-peer mentoring program open to all administrative support staff taking place throughout the 2018-19 academic year. Participants will be encouraged to meet every month and given incentives every other month to meet and check in with their partner. If you are interested in participating, you must attend this Meet & Greet session to be paired with your Buddy.

In preparation for the performance evaluation process for classified employees (Units 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9), Human Resources offers training for managers and department chairs in the preparation and presentation of the performance evaluation. Training includes the university's contractual obligations, an overview of the performance management philosophy, in-depth review of the performance appraisal forms.
New managers, chairs or supervisors who have never completed an appraisal in the past or any manager, chair or supervisor who desires information on the entire evaluation process in detail should attend. Information for all units will be covered, including the special Academic Professionals of California (Unit 4) performance appraisal.
