One of the leading progressive voices in America today, Kohn has been a guest speaker for campus Conversations on Inclusion, Respect and Equity.
She advocates talking respectfully and kindly to one another, stressing that we should act with compassion, not hate, toward those who are different.
“We all know how to be nice,” said Kohn. “I think we do. I think we have forgotten in addition to wanting everyone to do it for ourselves, we have to do it for others.”
The forum is sponsored by the President's Commission on Human Relations and Equity.
