In preparation for the performance evaluation process for classified employees (Units 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9), Human Resources offers training for managers and department chairs in the preparation and presentation of the performance evaluation. Training includes the University's contractual obligations, an overview of the performance management philosophy, in-depth review of the performance appraisal forms. New managers, chairs or supervisors who have never completed an appraisal in the past or any manager, chair or supervisor who desires information on the entire evaluation process in detail should attend. Information for all units will be covered, including the special Academic Professionals of California (Unit 4) performance appraisal. Workshop will also cover an introduction to a new automated workflow.
