The President's Cultural Competency Certificate Program provides participants with a greater understanding of how we can and why we should work together to continue building a strong and inclusive Fresno State community. Participants will also have an opportunity to reflect on their learning through writing, art, music and/or other forms of expression.
Certificates are awarded to those who complete all the required and elective seminars as well as a reflection component. Non-certificate seekers are welcome to attend all seminars. Requirements for certificates include:
- three required on-campus seminars
- two on-campus elective seminars
- one required PCHRE Forum for Inclusion, Respect and Equity event
- two on- or off-campus seminars preceded by a mandatory National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI) Leading for Diversity and Inclusion workshop
All seminars are held in the Vintage Room. RSVP is recommended. Seating is limited. For more information, visit PCHRE here.
