​I want to take a moment to highlight the incredible work of Tina Baker at the Lyles Center. Day in and day out, she goes above and beyond to keep everything running seamlessly. No matter how busy things get, she is always welcoming, highly organized, and genuinely eager to help everyone who walks through the door. Her dedication and positive energy make a tremendous difference for the entire Fresno State community.

Provides Excellent Customer Service

Monica Cervantes, Learning Center
Monica consistently provides exceptional customer service to the students who visit the Learning Center. Her welcoming and friendly approach immediately puts students at ease and helps them feel valued and supported. Monica continually goes above and beyond by connecting students with helpful resources and personally guiding them through the process so they can fully benefit from the services available. Her dedication, kindness, and commitment to student success make a meaningful difference in their experience. Thank you, Monica!

Matthew Montez, Library - Shipping and Receiving
Matthew assisted in the installation of a new photographic exhibition at the library. Matthew was the chief person responsible for the installation, which included large photographs. He worked with the curator of the exhibition to create a truly amazing exhibition in the Leon S. Peters Ellipse Gallery. Matthew went beyond the call of duty in working on the installation and always did so with a great attitude. He was easy to work with and gave great customer service.

Monica is simply wonderful to work with! She is kind, collaborative, respectful, and incredibly professional. Her leadership has helped bring Bulldog Connect to such a pivotal moment on our campus, and I am so proud to call her my colleague. Monica works thoughtfully with departments across our division and campus, taking the time to understand their unique needs while also encouraging us to rethink approaches and consider how we can better serve our students. She brings care, patience, expertise, and a true spirit of partnership to everything she does. We are incredibly fortunate to have Monica as part of our Student Affairs and Enrollment Management Division, and I am deeply grateful for all that she continues to bring to our students, colleagues, and campus!
