The Healthcare Career Exploration Summit is being proposed as a method to increase exposure to health care-related careers to high school, junior college, and four-year college students, in addition to current health care professionals looking to advance their education and training.

The Summit would provide for a hands-on conference in which a multitude of health care professions would be represented: nursing, advanced practice nursing, physical therapy, kinesiology, speech and language pathology, dietician, physician assistant, pharmacy and doctor of osteopathy.

Each profession would be represented and have their own dedicated space. A simulation or professional activity that relates to each of the respective professions will occur as well as career education and future job opportunities.
