The 24th Annual Fall Community Service Opportunities Fair, held Aug. 31, recruited more service hours for the campus and community. Seventy-three community benefit organizations attended the event and provided information to students, faculty and staff about their services and available volunteer opportunities. The Richter Center estimates that 7,738 contacts were made with agencies during this event. Of those contacts, it is anticipated that 2,628 volunteer commitments will result. Co-sponsors included Student Involvement and University Dining Services, and KFSR provided music.
