The Division of Continuing and Global Education invites faculty to submit course proposals for the 2027 Winter Intersession. Undergraduate and postbaccalaureate courses may be proposed. Courses in the following areas have been identified as “high need” and may be in greater demand:
- 1B (formerly A3) Foundation - Critical Thinking
- 1C (formerly A1) Foundation - Oral Communication
- 4A (formerly D1) Breadth - American History
- 6 (formerly F) Breadth - Ethnic Studies (high need for lower division)
- UD2/UD5 (formerly IB) - Integration - Mathematical Concepts and Quantitative Reasoning/Physical and Biological Sciences
- UD3 (formerly IC) - Integration - Arts and Humanities
- UD4 (formerly ID) - Integration - Social and Behavioral Sciences
- M/I - Multicultural/International
- L/S - Lifelong-Understanding & Self-Development (formerly GE Area E)
- PLSI 2 U.S. History and Government Requirements
Instructional dates: Monday, Dec. 28 – Friday, Jan. 15
Course proposal submission deadline: Friday, Oct. 2
The CGE Course Proposal Form is now in Kuali Build. We hope the new form will be more intuitive and easier to use. Please direct questions, concerns, or suggestions about the Kuali Build form to David Hoff at davhoff@mail.fresnostate.edu.
