We are less than a month away from Fresno State’s second annual Day of Giving, set for Thursday, Nov. 1! Fresno State will join universities nationwide in hosting an online giving day to support student success and encourage a culture of philanthropy on campus.
We encourage you to wear red on Nov. 1 to show support and demonstrate Bulldog pride. Administrators, faculty and staff can donate to our 24-hour (midnight to 11:59 p.m.) online-only fundraising effort at http://dayofgiving.fresnostate.edu.
The inaugural Day of Giving in 2017 raised $424,755 for Fresno State from 1,123 unique donors.
Once again, the campaign will focus on participation and how every donor counts. It’s not how much you give, it’s that you do.
Like last year, schools, colleges, divisions and participating areas can earn bonus funds up to $15,000, provided by the Fresno State Alumni Association, throughout the day with hourly challenges. And the President’s Office has generously offered $60,000 to challenge all areas to increase donor participation.
All funds raised will be used for programs and initiatives to help fulfill Fresno State’s mission “to boldly educate and empower our students for success.”
