In case you missed it, President Joseph I. Castro sent an email on Sept. 26 to the campus community addressing the issue of free expression on campus and all of its nuances.
Faculty and staff are encouraged to read the message for background and a better understanding of Fresno State’s policies and beliefs on this issue.
Dr. Castro’s message includes important resources and guides to help outline what the University values, including statements on academic freedom, the Principles of Community, faculty member rights and responsibilities, student code of conduct, reporting and action resources and policy that covers exceptions to free speech.
