Fresno State faculty and staff are invited to show their Bulldog spirit during Homecoming Week, Oct. 5-10, with a full lineup of campus traditions and community celebrations.
This year’s celebration holds special significance as the university marks its inaugural season in the Pac-12 Conference. Under the theme “PAC’d with Pride,” the week features a full lineup of inclusive campus and community traditions honoring Fresno State’s legacy and looking forward to an exciting new athletic and academic chapter.
Whether taking a midday stroll through the Memorial Gardens or gathering with campus colleagues off-site, there are plenty of ways for our dedicated campus community to get involved and show their Bulldog spirit.
Homecoming Week Event Highlights
Crowning the Mascot
Date: Monday, Oct. 5
Time: 10:30 – 11 a.m.
Location: Victor E. Bulldog statue (north entrance of the Resnick Student Union)
Join the campus community at the Victor E. Bulldog statue for a new tradition honoring our roots and celebrating our future, as Victor E. is ceremonially crowned the Beacon of Bulldog Pride.
Fired Up by the Fountain (Homecoming Kickoff)
Date: Monday, Oct. 5
Time: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Location: Memorial Gardens (lawn in front of the Kennel Bookstore)
Campus faculty, staff and students are invited to take a break and kick off the week with live entertainment, student-led activities and high-energy Bulldog pride.
Paint the Path
Date: Tuesday, Oct. 6
Time: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Location: Walkway of Memorial Gardens (by Memorial Fountain)
Help paint the path with Fresno State pride and create a spirited walk through the heart of campus for homecoming. All supplies provided.
Fresno State Homecoming Takeover at Crow & Wolf
Date: Friday, Oct. 9
Time: 4 – 10 p.m.
Location: Crow & Wolf Brewing Co. Taproom (526 Spruce Ave., Clovis)
Unwind at the end of the workweek with colleagues, alumni and friends. This community gathering features live music, local food trucks, family-friendly activities and Bulldog gear for all ages. Register now to get an exclusive wristband for $1 off beer. Each registration includes one wristband for attendees age 21 and older and one entry into a prize drawing.
Homecoming Football Game: Fresno State vs. Boise State
Date: Saturday, Oct. 10
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Location: Valley Children’s Stadium
