On Oct. 3, the Office of Innovation and Digital Excellence for Academic Success and the Accessible Technology Initiative Instructional Materials Committee hosted "Fix Your Content Day," bringing together faculty and staff for an event dedicated to improving accessibility in course materials. Participants worked independently or joined an in-person event to contribute towards a global effort to make accessibility fixes to digital files in their Canvas courses.

On our campus, 85 unique participants worked on files in 106 courses, resulting in an impressive 1,076 accessibility fixes. On the Fix Your Content Day global leaderboard, Fresno State ranked No. 16. We also proudly maintained our position as the top participating California State University for the second consecutive year.

As we celebrate these achievements, we recognize that our commitment to accessibility is an ongoing effort. We look forward to keeping the momentum going to ensure that our learning environment is accessible and inclusive.
