Exploring and Addressing Our Hidden Biases
Presented by Dr. Matthew Jendian. This workshop seeks to engage Fresno State faculty, staff and community members on strategies for supporting and enhancing the college experience for transgender students on campus. The learning space is designed to allow for open dialogue and discussion to deepen participant's understanding of transgender identities and experiences, as well as provide tools and resources for improving the campus climate for the Fresno State transgender community.

The program provides participants with a greater understanding of how we can and why we should work together to continue building a strong and inclusive Fresno State community. Participants will also have an opportunity to reflect on their learning through writing, art, music and/or other forms of expression.
Certificates awarded to those who complete all the required and elective seminars as well as a reflection component. Non-certificate seekers are welcome to attend all seminars.
