“Home Sweet Homecoming” starts today and runs through Saturday, Oct. 24 with virtual contests, activities and shows for all, concluding with the Fresno State football game against Hawaii.

Monday, Oct. 19

Homecoming Pawrade: Shoebox Float Competition
Time: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

What: The Fresno State Homecoming Pawrade tradition continues, only this time, with a virtual twist! We invite all students, faculty, staff, alumni, family, friends and community members to be a part of this year's historic Homecoming Pawrade and to vote for their favorite Fresno State shoebox float! People’s Choice voting will take place 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today on Instagram and Facebook. All category winners will be announced at 7 p.m.

VEB Homecoming Court
Time: Submissions open through Thursday, Oct. 22. Winners chosen on Friday, Oct. 23.

Hosted by: Victor E. Bulldog and Fresno State Alumni Association
What: To engage pet lovers and pet owners in homecoming festivities, participants are encouraged to tag Victor E. Bulldog in a photo of their pet to be entered to win. Categories include dogs, cats, farm animals and exotic animals. One winner will be chosen from each category and will become king or queen to join Victor E. on his Homecoming Court!

Fresno State Winery Homecoming Special
Time: Oct. 19 - 24
What: The Fresno State Winery is helping you celebrate Homecoming Week with some wine specials sure to be a touchdown. On the winery store website, scroll down to the bottom to find five pre-packaged wine sets that have been put together just for you. Pick one set, or several. What: This virtual homecoming celebration gives staff, faculty, students, alumni and the community at large an opportunity to celebrate in a safe and socially distanced way. Although free to register, we’ve built in opportunities to donate to support student scholarships and our University live mascot, Victor E. Bulldog.
