Kris has a fun and bright personality which made our technology challenges less worrisome, knowing we were in good hands with Kris. Every year in September, the School of Nursing, in conjunction with Sigma Theta Tau International Mu Nu Chapter and Nursing Leadership Coalition of the Central San Joaquin Valley, hosts the Nursing Hall of Fame induction dinner ceremony. This year, we hosted the ceremony on campus at the Resnick Student Union. Lily "saved my bacon" in helping with not only arranging the seating assignments, answering emails, and getting the medals ready for the inductees. Moreover, she helped arrange all of the flower vases and got them ready for me to set up for the event despite the fact that she was not able to attend the event on that day. It takes a lot of coordination, time, and energy to "host" an event. I, as the chair of the Nursing Hall of Fame, truly appreciate Lily's work in "saving my bacon!" Thank you for all that you do, Lily. I appreciate it very much.

La Bienvenida wouldn't have occurred this year without Aide's commitment and advocacy to the Latina/o Faculty and Staff Association. The purpose of La Bienvenida is to welcome new and returning Latina/o/x students, faculty and staff to Fresno State as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. This year, we had nearly 500 attendees. Aide was the primary pillar of this annual event. She supported recruiting 16 volunteers, secured additional funding, recruited the entire platform party, including our keynote speaker, and supported the overall planning of the La Bienvenida. As the current president of the Latina/o Faculty and Staff Association, I thank you for all your work for all students, staff and faculty.
