October is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, an annual initiative to raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity and promote deliberate, mindful behavior that protects information assets.
Technology Services will host a Cyber Security Awareness training on Monday, Oct. 23, titled "Be CyberSmart." Special Agent Jessica Downing (FBI) will lead this informative training, held in person at the Vintage Room.
All faculty and staff are welcome to join as we look at the FBI’s role in cybersecurity, including an overview of the most common types of malicious cyber activity, how to protect yourself, and a review of FBI cyber investigations.
Our goal is to become more keenly aware of how important it is to protect our personal data and the sensitive information we collect on behalf of the University. Registration is required — Be CyberSmart.
