Dear Faculty and Staff,
With the support of the Library Diversity Committee, the International Student Services and Programs (ISSP), and the Division of Continuing and Global Education (CGE), we cordially invite you to attend the second annual International Showcase and Reception in honor of International Education Week, November 13-19, to highlight the work of Fresno State faculty, staff, and students. This event will be an opportunity to celebrate our university's accomplishments and continue to bring focus to campus-wide efforts to internationalize our community.
We are seeking your assistance to help identify or nominate potential showcase participants. The showcase will feature approximately 20-25 posters that will highlight research, partnerships, courses, organizations, and other projects that present the global scope of Fresno State's accomplishments. Posters will be displayed November 13-19 in the library and during the reception on November 16. We kindly ask the presenters to accompany their posters during the reception in order to answer questions and provide further information to attendees. We anticipate faculty, staff, students, and the campus community to attend. If you are interested in submitting a poster, please fill out the Google Doc form in the link below, and please feel free to forward this email to others. A committee will review submitted proposals and contact the presenters with further information. Please review the attached information sheet for more information regarding the poster guidelines.
