Do you want to help build a strong and inclusive Fresno State community?
Participate in the President’s Cultural Competency Certificate Program from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19 at the Vintage Room. Morning refreshments and lunch will be provided.
The Power, Privilege and Oppression seminar will analyze how power operates through policies, systems, and structures; and develop a historical context for understanding oppression, privilege, power, resistance and social change. Participants will reflect on their own multiple identities within history and society and examine how power and privilege can hinder community building in the workplace.
The event is open to faculty, staff and administrators. For more information or to register visit Organizational Excellence.
