As a former Entrepreneur Mentor Program and entrepreneurship student at Fresno State, Crated with Love Chief Executive Officer and founder Tyler Turk knows how difficult it can be to build a brand in such a fast-paced and evolving e-commerce world.
Born and raised in Northern California (with some time spent in Reno, Nevada), Turk and his wife, Michelle, moved to Fresno in 2013 to attend Fresno State. During his time as a Bulldog, he fell in love with entrepreneurship, quickly learning that his dream in life was to create and build brands. As a member of the Entrepreneur Mentor Program through the Lyles Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Turk took a semester project and turned it into the multimillion dollar brand, Crated with Love, which creates relationship-building games and products for couples worldwide.
Always on a quest for growth, Turk has been a part of many startup programs across the country, including Future Founders (based in Chicago), and was recently accepted into the SKU accelerator program (the nation's leading consumer packaged goods, or CPG, accelerator). As a founder and a new father, Turk knows the importance of community and support when it comes to helping foster growth and sustainability for small businesses, and he loves to share his mistakes in hopes of helping other young entrepreneurs find success.
