Dear Colleagues,


Last weekend, the Barking Bulldogs participated in the Las Vegas Classic Debate Tournament at UNLV.  This was a prestigious national tournament with 77 highly competitive teams participating.  Our debaters, Primavera Leal Martinez and Hunter Sansom, achieved the difficult task of breaking into the elimination rounds of the UNLV tournament by defeating University of Iowa, Arizona State University, United State Military Academy (West Point), and University of Houston.  Martinez and Sansom had a great showing in the elimination rounds and lost to University of California, Berkeley in the octo-final round. We are very proud of our debaters for this incredible achievement.
