The Central Utility Plant Replacement (CUPR) project continues to progress. We apologize for these temporary inconveniences as the contractor is trying to get as much work done as possible between now and the start of the spring 2023 semester. Beginning today, Monday, Nov. 21, please note the following road closures that will cause the redirection of pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
San Ramon Road Closure (between Science I and Science II buildings):
San Ramon Avenue (east of Maple Avenue) will be closed to vehicular traffic through Feb. 28, 2023.
- Alternative ADA parking stalls will be available in lots P6, P15 and P17.
- The sidewalk south of Science II (adjacent to San Ramon Ave.) will remain open for pedestrian traffic.
Maple Avenue Closure:
The Maple Avenue roundabout will be closed to all vehicular traffic through Jan. 15, 2023.
- Alternative ADA parking stalls will be available in lot P4 (by Joyal Administration).
- The V-Line bus pick-up and drop-off area will be temporarily relocated to the FAX bus stop on Shaw Avenue and Maple Avenue.
- The sidewalk from Maple Avenue to Joyal Administration will remain open on the east side of the roundabout.
- An additional pedestrian pathway between Music and Joyal Administration will be available.
- University High School has been advised of this temporary closure given student pick-up and drop-off.
As a reminder, please use caution and plan for additional time as you move through these areas of campus.
