Dr. Luz Gonzalez, executive director of the Fresno State South Valley Campus, was awarded an honorary membership to Nu Alpha Kappa Fraternity, Inc. on Nov. 12 at the Smittcamp Alumni House.

“The membership is the first of its kind," said Nu Alpha Kappa Club Communications Director Dr. Saul Salinas. "Our fraternity at Fresno State has never offered this type of membership, however, Dr. Gonzalez has been our fraternity advisor for 30 years and deserves it!"

Dr. Peter Robertson, Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving, participated in an in-person panel discussion titled “Pride on our campuses” on Nov. 12 for the Qistory Project.

He also participated in an online 90-minute in-depth interview discussing LGBTQ+ activism and advocacy on Oct. 25 for the Men’s Success Initiative in the Cross Cultural and Gender Center.
